This terrazzo installation was part of a renovation and addition to The Gateway Arch National Park, which welcomes over 3 million visitors annually. The job required a match to the existing sand cushion Venetian terrazzo installed in the early 1960s. The majority of the terrazzo project’s square-footage is sand cushion terrazzo in two colors, both standard and Venetian with number three to five marble aggregate. A 15-color epoxy terrazzo map of the US depicts major rivers, lakes, mountain ranges, and the expedition trails of Lewis and Clark.
