Thinset Terrazzo |
Description |
| 1/4” or 3/8” thick
resin terrazzo veneer placed upon a provided
level concrete slab, this system creates the
ideal floor for multi-story or ground levels,
using a combination of marble chips or other
suitable aggregates and an epoxy or polyester
matrix. |
Advantages |
| Ideal for both vertical and horizontal
restorations, this lightweight system offers
a full range of colors. Both epoxy and polyester
resist many types of chemical spills, making
them perfect for labs, hospitals and manufacturing
facilities. |
Total Thickness |
1/4” or 3/8” epoxy
or polyester terrazzo topping.
9-1 chip sizes
options.
#2 chips for 3/8” |
Weight |
| 4 lbs. PSF |
Divider Strips Usage |
| 20’-0” x 20’-0” or
less on centers. All breaks or saw cuts in the
concrete substrate must have divider strips positioned
directly over. All divider strips used are L
or K strips in design. Strips not located over
concrete joints are only decorative. Avoid long
narrow slabs. Concrete joints should be spaced
no more than 1 1/2 times the width of any concrete
pour. Architects must design expansion plates
where movement is anticipated. Plates furnished
and installed by others. |
