NTMA Announces New President, Wayne Grazzinni |

Purcellville, VA April 22, 2005 — The National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association (NTMA) has announced the election of its new president, Wayne T. Grazzini of WT Grazzini Terrazzo and Tile, Inc. WT Grazzini is located in Burnsville, MN.
Mr. Grazzini joined the association in 1975, and will lead it with over 35 years of Terrazzo experience. Since its inception in August of 2001 WT Grazzini Terrazzo and Tile, Inc. has completed many Terrazzo projects that demonstrate the company’s commitment to excellence in design and function. As one of the preeminent terrazzo contractors of the Midwest, Mr. Grazzini’s work can be seen in numerous schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings, as well as The Mall of America, MSP Airport, and the MSP Humphrey Terminal.
“I am pleased to be elected the 41st President of the NTMA,” states Grazzini. “It is an exciting time for the terrazzo industry. We are experiencing great growth as architects, designers and building supervisors and owners are increasingly aware of the limitless design opportunities, durability, low maintenance and life-cycle costs, and “green” aspects of terrazzo. I am proud to lead the NTMA, an organization comprised of true artisans and the most skilled terrazzo contractors in the United States.”
The NTMA was formed over 82 years ago as a nonprofit trade association that establishes national standards for all Terrazzo floor and wall systems and provides complete specifications, color plates and general information to architects and designers at no cost.
Membership in the Association is limited to Terrazzo Contractors who meet rigid proficiency standards and participate in continuing educational seminars conducted annually by the Association. Associate membership is available to material suppliers whose products comply with the standards stipulated by the Association.
