New Color Palette Highlights Design Versatility of Terrazzo
The National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association, Inc. ("NTMA") is pleased to introduce a revised and expanded color palette for terrazzo flooring. Terrazzo is extremely versatile with respect to matrix colors and chip blends, offering the designer an unlimited selection that can then be incorporated into a pattern. These color palettes provide a starting point for design ideas. They are designated for cement and/or thin-set epoxy terrazzo. The palette selection ranges from standard matrix colors with common chip blends, to vivid epoxy matrix colors with exotic chip blends.
Terrazzo is a centuries-old art form highly sought after by today’s architects, designers and building owners alike. It’s versatility and beauty is only paralleled by its sustainability and easy maintenance. The appearance of terrazzo only improves with age, and can be expected to grace any building’s floors for fifty or more years.
